Smokescreen: NASCAR Star Tony Stewart Visits Injured Daytona Fans Following Nationwide Win
“Smoke” may be known for his bold attitude and swagger. But there’s much, much more to Oakley’s NASCAR speed demon, Tony Stewart, than his edgy public persona. The three-time NASCAR Champion, a couple days after grabbing an emotional Nationwide victory over the weekend at Daytona over Sam Hornish Jr., ducked the cameras and the watchful eye of the industry to visit a handful of fans injured at the race after a horrific crash that penetrated the track’s safety barriers. O’s long-time driver/owner spent a few hours with the victims – some of who were listed as critical upon their arrival at the hospital – to provide comfort and some signed gear.

Back-to-Back! NASCAR Gunslinger Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Claims Second Consecutive Nationwide Title
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. flat out rips. Oakley’s young NASCAR legend-in-the-making successfully defended his NASCAR Nationwide Title, effectively catapulting him into the pages of history as only the sixth driver in the series’ history to claim consecutive titles. Wrapping up another magical season with a sixth place finish at Homestead-Miami, the part-time snowboarder (yes, snowboarder) edged Elliot Sadler for all the goods. “A lot of people put a lot of effort into this and I’m just the lucky guy who gets to drive it,” Ricky said, rocking his Oakley Racing gloves, boots, base layer and eyewear.

Improbable: NASCAR Star Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Steals Magical Nationwide Victory in Kansas
Magic really does exist in the Land of Oz. Raging back from lagging behind a whole two laps, Oakley NASCAR Star Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. claimed his sixth triumph of the season – and his eighth career victory – at the Kansas Lottery 300 Nationwide Series race this past weekend. Following a dramatic green-white-checkered-flag finish, stretching the event six extra laps beyond its original 200, Ricky plowed his way to front of the pack in the final turn as then-leader Kyle Busch used up all his fuel. The improbable result became a reality as his car charged through a collision with Joey Logano on-track. “The guys did an awesome job getting the car back together, and we never gave up,” Ricky said, rocking his Oakley Batwolf eyewear. “Mike made great calls and adjustments to fix how the car drove with the damage, and it was still one of the fastest cars out there. I didn’t see the win coming like this, but we will take it.”
